Abstract:Maan ilmakehän muuttuvan tilan valvontaan ja ennustamiseen tarvitaan jatkuvaa havainnointia. Havaintoja täytyy tehdä kaikkialla maapallolla, ja siksi niiden täytyy kattaa myös alueet, joilla on huono tai olematon infrastruktuuri. Kaukokartoituslaitteilla, varsinkin satelliitteihin asennetuilla, voidaan tehdä mittauksia käytännöllisesti myös näillä syrjäisillä alueilla. |
