Abstract:Mineraalipöly on yksi ilmakehämme yleisimpiä pienhiukkastyyppejä, ja sillä on potentiaalisesti merkittäviä vaikutuksia sekä säähän että ilmastoon. Nämä vaikutukset syntyvät valon ja muun sähkömagneettisen säteilyn vuorovaikuttaessa pölyhiukkasten kanssa, mikä johtaa saapuvan valon energian siroamiseen. Näiden vuorovaikutusten laskemista yksittäissirontasimulaatioiden avulla tarvitaan, jotta sovellukset ja mallit voivat huomioida pölyn vaikutukset. |
